I love Impressionists because it’s a huge part of French culture, and as a Frenchie it kinda talks to me : the landscapes, the fashion, the places and characters are something I know, part of my History. They’re like vintage “photos” of towns and situations we know. But for the record, I started to hate Fauvism when I moved to the town of Paul Cezanne because you can see him everywhere, in the end looks like this city only have Cezanne and nothing else, dammit !
